Cryptothallus mirabilis v. Malmborg (Aneuraceae, Hepaticopsida) dans le Perche d'Eure-et-Loir (France)

Abstract Cryptothallus mirabilis has been discovered in the Forest of Senonches on the fringes of Tardais pond. This liverwort is new to Eure-et-Loir (France) and to the Parisian Basin. This new discovery allowed the ecological conditions on the habitat to be specified and to compare them with other West European localities. A distribution map of the French stations is given.

Cephalozia macrostachya Kaal. indicateur de l'état de conservation d'une tourbière en Sologne (Cher, France); son utilité dans la problématique de gestion

Abstract In a Sphagnum-rich wet heath of Sologne (France), the indicator value of Cephalozia macrostachya and the closely related C. connivens is investigated by mean of systematic recording in 25 × 25 m grid cells. The distribution of the two species at the local scale, the affinity for vascular phytocenosis and microcenosis appeared distinct. Correspondence analysis and agglomerative hierarchical clustering performed allowed the grouping of grid cells sharing a significantly similar bryoflora and the grouping of taxa sharing a significantly similar affinity for different kinds of substrates. Cephalozia macrostachya is part of a highly demanding suite of species from the structural, hydrological and dynamical perspectives. Cephalozia macrostachya is a relevant tool that may be used in a conservation perspective.
