Une démarche et un outil pour modéliser et comparer l'organisation spatiale d'exploitations agricoles

We present a common work between agronomists and computer scientists. The agronomists perform case studies on farms modifying territories through their practices on the Grands Causses region, currently submitted to scrub growing. They represent spatial organisation and interpret farm functioning thanks to graphic models. The computer scientists are in charge of the development of a case-based reasoning system, called ROSA, that compares spatial organisations of farms and builds the corresponding functional explanations. The case base contains farms already analysed. ROSA gets graphs representing the spatial organisation of farms as input, performs graph comparison, and extracts explanations as output. To conclude, we relate this method for characterising farms to other observation and analysis methods of the rural territories transformations.
