Energy spectrum of anyons in the Hartree-Fock approximation

Abstract We analyse the Hartree-Fock Hamiltonian of anyons. Following the method shown by Hanna, Laughlin and Fetter we find the value of the energy gap and the ground-state energy for any statistics parameter ϑ=1− 1 n . The result is discussed in comparison with predictions of the mean field approximation.
