With the aid of weighted value sharing we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions concerning nonlinear differential polynomials that share a nonzero polynomial and prove a uniqueness theorem which improve a result due to X.M. Li and L. Gao [Bull. Korean Math. Soc. 47(2010), 319–339] as well as two recent results of the present author [Vietnam J. Math. 39:1(2011), 49–62] and [Math. Bohemica 137:3(2012)].

Abstract With the notion of weighted sharing of values we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions whose certain nonlinear differential polynomials share a small function. Our result improves a recent result due to A. Banerjee [Kyungpook Math. J., 51 (2011), 43–58] and that of the results of J. Xia and Y. Xu [Filomat J. Math., 25 (2011), 185–194].

Abstract In this paper, with the aid of weighted value sharing we study the uniqueness problems of meromorphic functions when certain nonlinear differential polynomials generated by them share a nonconstant polynomial with weight two. The result of the paper not only improves the results due to the present first author [Bull. Math. Anal. Appl., 2(2010), 106-118] and of Zhang and Xu [Comput. Math. Appl., 61(2011), 722-730], at the same time finds a possible answer of an open question posed by Zhang and Xu.

Abstract In the paper, we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions when certain nonlinear differential polynomials share a nonzero polynomial. The results of the paper improves two recent results due to [LI, X. M.—YI, H. X.: Uniqueness of meromorphic functions whose certain nonlinear differential polynomials share a polynomial, Comput. Math. Appl. 62 (2011), 539–550].
