This paper describes a new technique for the design of Adaptive Median Filtering Technique, aimed at removing the impulse noise (salt and pepper noise) from the image and reducing distortion in the image. The filter is designed to reconfigure itself and provide real-time noise reduction. This paper investigates a high-speed non-linear Adaptive median filter implementation. Then Adaptive Median Filter serves the dual purpose of removing the impulse noise from the image and reducing distortion in the image. Adaptive Median Filtering can achieve the filtering operation of an image corrupted with impulse noise up to 70%.

In early frameworks, at the season of data transmission between two armed force stations, it can be hacked by terrorists, spies and foes. Cryptography is an imperative framework utilized for this reason. There are different sorts of calculations accessible for encryption and unscrambling of information i.e. Decryption and new calculations or algorithms are advancing. In this paper, a safe information transmission method utilizing visual cryptography has been proposed. here, the content information are encoded utilizing Tiny encryption calculation and each one of those information are hide behind the image utilizing image Steganography. The resultant stego-image is separated into N number of shares utilizing visual cryptography. At that point, the shares are sent to the recipient where it utilizes the reverse procedure of encryption to get the real content information.

Distribution static synchronous compensator (D-STACOM) has a greater importance in modern distribution level for reactive power compensation dynamically and power quality improvement. In this paper an effort has been given to design a D-STATCOM, an essential shunt Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) device using decoupled current control method for three phase three wire system to compensate the reactive power. It is difficult as well as time consuming process to get the proper tuning parameters of PI controller for D-STATCOM using conventional methods. An attempt has been made by implementing two recently developed global optimization techniques named Differential Search algorithm (DSA) and Wind Driven optimization (WDO) for proper tuning of parameters by minimizing the integral square error (ISE) for both outer voltage controller and inner current controller simultaneously. The PI gain calculated by DSA and WDO shows in terms of reduction of error, improvement of overshoot in capacitor voltage waveform, convergence speed and some other parameters of the circuit. Comparative study of both the methods with trial and error method reveals that DSA algorithm based PI controller tuning method gives more optimized results.
