Developing distributed virtual machines for the tri-integration-pattern based platform (TIPBP)

Qing Duan; Zhihong Liang; Hua Zhou; Hongzhi Liao; Hongji Yang

Virtual machine is a concept that has been used frequently in the computing world to solve different problems. It plays an important role that is continuing to extend the abilities of computer systems. In this paper, the concept of virtual machine is put into practice within tri-integration pattern based platform (TIPBP) in order to facilitate component assembly and application extension. The distributed virtual machines development aims to improve the performance of TIPBP. The paper presents the relationship between the distributed virtual machines and TIPBP, and details how to design the virtual machines at both server side and client side.

An Analysis of the Keys to the Executable Domain-Specific Model

Qing Duan; Junhui Liu; Zhihong Liang; Hongwei Kang; Xingping Sun

Software development is switched from code-centric to model-centric with model-driven development (MDD). Model is expected to bring an essential leap of software development and drive the whole software development process. It means that model is not only an analysis and design specification, but also a software product which can be automatically transformed into the executable system. That requires the executability of model. This paper presents an executable domain-specific model named xDSM and discusses the keys to making xDSM executable. The keys are accuracy and integrality of the model and its behavior modeling. They all are built based on domain-specific meta-modeling.

Executable Domain-Specific Modelling Based on Domain Spaces

Qing Duan; Junhui Liu; Dongdai Zhou; Feng Yu; Hongji Yang

Domain-specific modelling is used to construct and realise the different application models upon the same specific domain for software reuse. The paper integrates domain-specific modelling and web service techniques with model-driven development, and proposes a unified approach named SODSMI (Service Oriented executable Domain-Specific Modelling and Implementation) to build the executable domain-specific model so as to achieve the target of model-driven development and reuse. The approach is organised by domain space, which is employed as the elementary unit of the domain-specific modelling and implementation framework. It makes software reuse at the domain level, realises the reuse of domain knowledge, and openly extends the range and scale of domain-specific model and its implementation.

Cloud: Complex Adaptive Service System

Qingyi Chen; Hongwei Kang; Hua Zhou; Xingping Sun; Yong Shen; Shenglin Yang; Qing Duan

This paper analyzes relevant theory, also known as the complexity science. On the basis of comprehensive analysis to service-oriented systems and cloud computing solutions, it reveals some behaviors and phenomena that are difficult to be explained by traditional information science methods involved in the continuously developed cloud computing environments and proposes complex adaptive service systems CASS. It uses Multi-Agent Based Modeling method to create a cloud environment prototype based on CASS principle and designs a multi-agent model for the subject behavior rules in CASS so as to reveal a behavior rule which can help to quickly promote similar service (subject) classification aggregation in the cloud environment.

Zhihong Liang; Hongwei Kang; Yong Shen; Xingping Sun; Qing Duan; Shenglin Yang

After combining content release, subscription middleware features, and the traditional event-based software integration together, focus on the problems in the existing system has established an adaptable and efficient events-driven integration framework with XML as the message interaction basis by means of core models defining and filter testing designs such as architecture design and event models.

Web service discovery and composition based on process model

Xingping Sun; Hongwei Kang; Hua Zhou; Shenglin Yang; Yong Shen; Qing Duan

This paper establishes WSVE process model as the object of analysis and discovers functional and non-functional QoS demands of WEB service. On the basis of these demands, the paper suggests service discovery algorithms for service and QoS. On the basis of the service discovery, it puts forward the method for transforming process model into BPEL4WS. It achieves the integration of virtual enterprise through WEB service composition and comes up with the idea for dynamic service composition which is driven by information.

Research on Web Service-Based Virtual Enterprise Model Architecture

Shenglin Yang; Hongwei Kang; Zhihong Liang; Xingping Sun; Yong Shen; Qing Duan

This paper adopts web service as an integrated technology to shorten virtual enterprises, including recognition, setting-up of time, to find the right partner in a large number of potential partners which used for selection, to increase the degree of autonomy of partners, reducing the coupling degree of virtual enterprise integration. This paper proposes modeling architecture of WSVE, containing the goal view, organization view, function view and resource view. Modeling process is the process of the conception of virtual enterprise from ambiguity to clear.

Research on Web Service-Based Virtual Enterprise Process Model

Xingping Sun; Hongwei Kang; Zhihong Liang; Shenglin Yang; Yong Shen; Qing Duan

Process model refers to the research on key model of virtual enterprise dynamic behavior based on Web Service. This paper proposes WSVE process Meta-Model, and presents the algorithm of analysis and simulation based on process model. Through simulation analysis of the process model, we can determine the factors such as cost, time, and others of the process itself and various links, which builds the foundation on research based on service discovery and composite of process model.

A multiple-tier model manipulation architecture for enterprise decision making

Zhihong Liang; Shaoyun Li; Hongzhi Liao; Hongwei Kang; Qing Duan; Hua Zhou; Hongji Yang

The usage of decision models has been given attention by decision makers for many years. How to realise public-use and reuse of model, and gain the adequate information not only limited to local departments in the wide enterprise environment is one of the most concerned issues of decision-makers. The idea of multiple-tier framework put forward by distributed system provides a helpful approach to this issue. This paper proposes a practical approach to model manipulation in a distributed decision support system based on network technology and component technology. It implements the separation among the clients, application and data level, accordingly allows the data and model source distributed storage and sharing for multi-departments. The method based on COM+ component technology makes the model distributed in the host computer all over the Internet/Intranet. Consequently, widespread models can be supplied to the client by application servers.
