Synthesis and characterization of transition metal ternary complexes of glyoxylic acid thiosemicarbazone and 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one

ABSTRACT A series of transition metal ternary complexes of glyoxylic acid thiosemicarbazone and 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements,IR, 1H NMR and electronic spectra. Octahedral geometry for the complexes is suggested.

Synthesis and Transesterification of β‐Methoxycarbonyl‐β‐methylethyltin Trichloride Complexes with Benzylmethylsulfoxide

The synthesis, crystal structure and transesterification reaction of the β‐methoxycarbonyl‐β‐methylethyltin trichloride complex with benzylmethylsulfoxide is reported and a possible mechanism for the transesterification is suggested. A series of complexes of β‐alkoxycarbonyl‐β‐methylethyltin trichloride with benzylmethyl sulfoxide have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and 1H NMR spectra.

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ORGANOTIN(IV) COMPLEXES OF N-(2-MERCAPTOPHENYL)-SALICYLALDIMINE

ABSTRACT The organotin(IV) complexes of N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylaldimine,ROCOCH2CH2SnClL(L=OC6H4CH˭NC6H4S, R=alkyl), were synthesized by the reaction of 2-alkoxy carbonylethyltin trichlorides with N-(2-mercaptophenyl)salicylaldimine (H2L) in the presence of triethylamine and were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR spectra and X-ray single crystal diffraction. The structural features of these compounds are discussed.
