Design of a Multi-Functional Medical Bed

The Multi-functional medical bed has been designed to the patient whose life cant been provided for oneself, critically ill patients, and the special needs of paralyzed patients. In the paper, through market research and according to the structure of existing medical bed, a manual medical bed has been designed; And the bed board, lift back and leg mechanism, defecation device and eat device of the medical bed have been discussed; the feasibility analysis of the motion mechanism has been carried and the basic design parameters of the product have been determined; on the basis, the main structure for medical bed has been carried on the design and calculation. The results showed that function of the medical bed is reliable, the structure is reasonable, and it is in line with the requirements of ergonomics. Especially, some of these institutions have been optimized and replace to use more convenient and quickly.

Design Research of Novel Self-Propelled Air Railcar

With the increase of people’s living quality, entertainment has become an essential way of life in modern life, and thus it has become an important and significant research goal to design safe, functional, practical and aesthetic entertainment facilities. In the paper, a novel self-propelled air railcar has been designed on the basis of the characteristics of existing ones. According to the working principle of railcar, the paper adopted ergonomics, to design the seat’s position and height reasonably to ensure passengers’ comfort; adopted innovation design method of bionics, where the appearance modeling design combined the moon, clouds and stars to comply with the times; used 3D software to model and render the model, and thus to express the artistic conception and reality sense of product, then the product will get recognition by consumers in both function and aesthetics.

Novel Design of Manual Mechanical Rotary Table

Mechanical rotary table [ has been widely used in many work applications, where rotating capacity and power of the table are necessary elements to ensure the operation safety. The paper provides a rotary table design operated by hand movements to lift and fall, rotate and turn over in the absence of electricity and other external powers. Therefore, table should have a simple structure and be easy to maintain, meanwhile working area should be wide enough for convenient operation. Simultaneously good safety performance is of great significant in this design, which requires a reasonable arrangement of each components position to minimize the number of dangerous sections. The rotary part applies commonly used clamping flange, which allows the table to clamp different types of components. Mechanical rotary table can be applied in many different occasions, making it a truly multi-functional workbench.
