Elastic scattering of hadrons on protons has been measured at momenta of 50, 100, and 200 GeV/c. The meson-proton scattering is found to be independent of momentum and meson type for -t > 0.8 (GeV/c)/sup 2/. The momentum dependence of the pp dip at -t = 1.4 (GeV/c)/sup 2/ was investigated. Slope parameters are given. (AIP)

Abstract We present final results of a sensitive search for new particles in π ± K ∓ effective mass spectra observed in proton-nucleus collisions at 400 GeV/ c . We establish a limit for D 0 (1.865) production B π + π − d σ /d y y cm ≈ −0.4. For D 0 → π − K + the limit is 290 nb/nucleon.

We report preliminary results from a search for new particles produced in proton‐nucleus collisions at 400 GeV/c. A double‐arm spectrometer is used to detect two‐body final states where each spectrometer arm has the capability of uniquely identifying Π±, K±, p, ?, μ±, and φ. The Jψ is measured in the μ+μ− mode.
