The vehicular Ad hoc network is new emerging technology to enhance traffic safety and comfort for automotive users. Most of the safety applications in this field need real time information with high reliability and in time delivery. In dense network a large number of vehicles nodes disseminate the messages to all accessible nodes with high frequency and control channels will be easily congested and cause of broadcast storm. There is a need to prevent control channels from these types of storms and ensure the reliable and in time devilry of messages for safety applications. The congestion control mechanism is one of the most popular approach to control the load and ensure in time and efficient delivery of messages. We proposed a congestion control scheduling scheme to provide an efficient operation, congestion avoidance or mitigation. The performance of proposed scheme is evaluated in different congested scenarios and compared with existing congestion control scheduling schemes and improve packet loss rate and packet delay.

Vehicular ad hoc network is an emerging tremendous technology that facilitates ubiquitous wireless communication between vehicles and possibly with road side infrastructure to providing safety, driver assistance and comfort. Real-time vehicular information gathering is a significant and crucial part in vehicular communication about vehicle position and velocity, etc. For broadcasting and gathering real time vehicles information, usually base stations are used for communication with vehicles and backbone infrastructure. This vehicular- to-infrastructure architecture installed with different types of power cables and other heterogeneous devices, this type of solution elevate the installation and maintenance cost. Wireless sensor network is considering low cost technology to bridge the gap between physical and digital world. These wireless sensors are deployed without cables restriction in vehicular network to overcome the traditional system issues. In this paper, we propose a sensor based model for reliable and efficient communication in vehicular ad hoc networks. The complete process of data transmission and aggregation are designed and prototyped.

Due to open network nature of wireless sensor networks make them highly vulnerable to a variety of security attacks and easy target for adversaries, which may capture these nodes, analyze and easily insert fake route information. Wireless sensor network is an emerging, cost effective and unsupervised solution for collecting this information from the physical world and sending this information back to centralized authority for further processing. Reliable data gathering and delivery is always a challenging task due to dynamic, unattended and unpredictable behavior of wireless sensor network and its broadcast nature of communication. To protect sensor network from routing attacks in the presence of malicious nodes is always a challenge. In this paper, we propose a trust aware distance vector routing protocol (T-AODV) to protect wireless sensor network from wormhole attacks. Through experimental results, our propose approach proved the network efficiency in terms of improved packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay and number of node to the destination.
