Van der Woude syndrome (VWS) is usually underreported and frequently not diagnosed. The phenomenon that cleft lip and palate are regularly combined in the same pedigree makes it unique. A meticulous examination of a patient with lip pits may reveal a hidden form of a cleft, for example, submucous. This paper presents a case of VWS in a ten-year-old boy with characteristic orofacial features. Special emphasis has also been given on the need for appropriate genetic counseling.

Implant fracture is one of the important biomechanical complications which can present with a considerable problem to the patient as well as the dental surgeon. The aim of this case report is to describe the management of a case of fractured endosseous dental implant in premolar region and microscopic evaluation of the fractured implant segment using scanning electron microscopy. In most of such cases, complete removal of the fractured implant has been a preferred treatment option. In the present case, fractured implant segment was successfully removed and rehabilitated immediately with larger diameter implant. It was found that retrieved fracture segment had a diameter of 3.3 mm, and SEM analysis shows fatigue fractures which may be the result of excessive overloading and use of small diameter implant which enhances fatigue failure.

The advances in adhesive dentistry have allowed dentists to use the patient’s own fragment to restore the fractured tooth. The present case report describes management of a complicated fracture of maxillary right central incisor treated endodontically, followed by reattachment of the same fragment using fiber post. Reattachment of fractured tooth fragments offers a viable restorative alternative, immediately restores tooth function for the clinician because it restores tooth function and esthetics with the use of a very conservative and cost-effective approach.

Coronal fracture of permanent dentition is the most frequent type of dental injury. The immediate agglutination of original fractured tooth is a good alternative option in the scope of emergency treatment for remaining esthetical and functional problems. This article reports the management of Ellis Class II Fractured tooth using adhesive reattachment of the same fragment.

Restoration of teeth in the esthetic zone is a great challenge for dental practitioners. Preference to shortened overall treatment period and minimum number of surgical interventions in implant dentistry is desired by patients and clinicians. Immediate implant placement combined with simultaneously guided bone regeneration in post extraction sockets having bony defects has emerged as a predictable method resulting in high implant survival rates and good esthetic outcomes. This article describes a case of immediate implant placement and guided bone regeneration for treatment of severe buccal dehiscence in mandibular anterior region.

Trauma to anterior teeth is common and requires accurate diagnosis and thorough treatment planning. The maxillary incisors are often affected during injury to the face because of their normal labial projection inflicting damage to the crowns. Multidisciplinary treatment approach is important for aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of anterior teeth with crown fracture. The purpose of this article is to present a case of fractured anterior teeth and its management taking in consideration the biologic, functional, esthetic and economic aspects. Keywords- crown fracture, extrusion, orthodontic eruption, and trauma I. Introduction Facial injuries are more common in young patients as result of sports activities, falls, car accident, fight, and intentional assaults.(1) Maxillary incisors are more susceptible to get damaged by a blow on the face due to their labial projection. Crown fractures or crown- root fractures correspond to a significant part of such cases of tooth injuries. Crown fractures account for the majority of dental trauma in the permanent dentition (26- 76% of dental injuries), while crown-root fractures represent only 0.3-5%. (2-6) Depending upon the existence or not of pulpal involvement, they may be classified respectively as complicated, which are more frequent, or
