A Modelagem da Informacao da Construcao ( Building Information Modeling – BIM) envolve um conjunto interrelacionado de politicas, processos e tecnologias para gerenciar a essencia do projeto, construcao e operacao de edificios no formato digital em todo o ciclo de vida da edificacao. Entender BIM apenas como tecnologia e uma distorcao advinda de uma simplificacao extrema do paradigma. Dessa forma, a abordagem de BIM no ensino deve ir alem da capacitacao instrumental contida nas disciplinas de informatica aplicada. Este artigo apresenta um diagnostico de experiencias brasileiras e internacionais de ensino de BIM, o que permite avaliar a abrangencia dos esforcos de ensino adotados ate o presente no Brasil, neste contexto. Este diagnostico se da por meio de revisao bibliografica sobre relatos de experiencia de ensino de BIM, discussao em workshop e experimentacao no ensino. Classificam-se as experiencias avaliadas identificando-se os estagios de adocao de BIM e os niveis de competencia por elas fomentados. Ao utilizar uma mesma classificacao aplicada no estudo do cenario internacional para as experiencias nacionais, foi possivel balizar o nivel de desenvolvimento do ensino de BIM no Brasil. Discute-se, a luz das experiencias apresentadas, o quao abrangente deve ser a formacao em BIM e a quais estagios de adocao de BIM essas experiencias de ensino conduzem. Modelos de inspiracao que possam contribuir com o cenario brasileiro de adocao do BIM sao apresentados, extraidos de boas experiencias estrangeiras.

Abstract This paper evaluates a technical assistance program for house self-builders in the region of the city of Campinas, Brazil. The assistance given is in the form of an individualized house design, distributed to self-builders, based on an automated computer aided design (CAD) generated design method. A case study is used to demonstrate the efficacy of the assistance program. The transfer process of a population from an environmental protection area to a new location and their need for rapid house construction is the specific case presented. Houses are evaluated as to satisfaction and environmental comfort conditions. As a result, lessons are learnt about assistance programs and their success in improving housing quality.

The possibility to generate sensations, anticipate events yet to take place, provide process optimization, among other things, makes the Virtual Reality (VR) and its variations, such as Augmented Reality (AR), a great promise for many industries. This article investigates the applicability of AR resources in architecture and construction, pointing out related research around the world and positing where this technology has been investigated in Brazil. AR (augmented reality) is a technology that adds information to the real world adding virtual elements to its visualization in real time. AR used in AECO (architectural, engineering, construction and operations) can contribute in augmenting visualization during design, construction and operation of the buildings. This article presents a study that applies AR to building assessment with BIM (building information) model visualization. The use of AR on existing applications for smart phones and tablets is validated. AR proposed an adaptation of the method of POE (post-occupancy evaluation) subsidized. Traditional POE process model involves three phases: planning, conducting and applying. In order to incorporate AR, it is proposed a total restructuring of the planning phase, developing the research instruments in three steps: 3D modeling, model treatment and AR application development. It was observed that for POE studies, the 3D models are in large scale and need to be detailed for precise comparison. BIM models for facility management, representing building use situation, are of the highest level of detail. A balanced point between simplicity and representativeness was the solution adopted in this experiment for uploading and downloading performance issues. This article presents and discusses findings for the new proposition for the activity of research instruments development for the planning phase of POE with AR as well as initial tests with first results and difficulties faced.
