a discussao sobre a analise da producao cientifica na area de Educacao Especial (EEs) brasileira, ja vem sendo objeto de estudo de varios pesquisadores. No entanto, ainda, sao escassos os estudos sobre as caracteristicas e tendencias das teses sobre EE desenvolvidas pelos Programas de Pos-Graduacao em Educacao (PPGE) do estado de Sao Paulo (SP), no periodo de 1985 a 2009, levando em consideracao os contextos mais abrangentes. Assim, a partir, de um exercicio fundamentalmente analitico-sintetico sobre as fontes bibliografico-documentais e com o auxilio de fichas de registro, elaboramos um banco de dados (Caracter). Este banco de dados auxiliou-nos na identificacao: de quem forma os doutores em EE nos PPGE do estado de SP (orientadores, programas, instituicoes etc.); das teses financiadas e respectivas agencias de fomento; das tematicas privilegiadas; das populacoes-alvo desses estudos; das bases teoricas dessas teses; das fontes de pesquisas utilizadas; das metodologias; e das abordagens epistemologicas. Enfim, os resultados obtidos neste levantamento e as informacoes sistematizadas ao longo de seu desenvolvimento demonstraram que as teses em EEs desenvolvidas pelos PPGE do estado de SP estao em movimento, o qual pode ser visto com otimismo e cautela, o primeiro advem da aproximacao da area com os problemas da educacao escolar brasileira, ja o segundo, relaciona-se fundamentalmente ao predominio de estudos descritivos e de pesquisa-acao, que parecem indicar respectivamente, dispersao e nao necessariamente a producao do novo, e certa adesao imediatista de carater acritico a concepcao de inclusao e escola das politicas educacionais praticadas no Brasil.

The intention of this paper is to discuss briefly the political dilemmas of scientific physical education in times of Brazilian academic productivism, particularly that develops in the context of post-graduate sensu. By the panorama and reconfiguration process Capes in recent years highlight the indicators optimistic policy of scientific postgraduate programs in Physical Education - PPGEF as well as the troubling aspects to the area. Facing this situation and in order to provoke debate pointed out some possibilities in Physical Education.

This study has as its central theme the enrollment of students with disabilities in Colleges Application of Federal Institutions of Higher Education (CAP/IFES). Its general purpose is to analyze the situation experienced by students with disabilities in the CAP/IFES in view of its directors on national policies for Special Education. This research is characterized as a field study of analytical-critical and is bounded to fifteen CAP/IFES. The study population was composed of directors of CAP/IFES, who performed this function in the first half of 2008. We sent questionnaires (semistructured) for all principals of the schools mentioned above, of which ten (66.7%) were actually answered. For analysis of the questionnaires it was found and the percentage content of the replies submitted by the directors. The data indicate the precise number of disabled students enrolled in the CAP/IFES and the situational reality of these students, according to the vision of the directors of these institutions. The directors also reported their conceptions of school enrollment and the main difficulties experienced by institutions that drive before the challenge presented by national policies of Special Education. Among these difficulties we highlight the lack of training for educators, which hinders the understanding and critical analysis of ideas inclusivist, making it difficult to overcome retrograde practices (explicit or implicit) that increase the educational and social exclusion of disabled students and new generations.
