A General Bibliography of Leisure Publications

Rick Crandall; S. M. Altengarten; S. M. Carson; M. M. Nolan; J. T. Dixon

ABSTRACTThree hundred leisure-related references were collected from four abstract sources. They are organized into seventeen categories. These are: concepts, bibliographies, methods, work and leisure, cross-cultural leisure, family leisure, group differences, specific activities, television, outdoor recreation, therapeutic recreation, leisure counseling and education, mental retardation, sports and physical education, professional recreation issues, youth, and play. Other subcategories within these groups include the blind, camping, the elderly, games, toys, travel, and urban recreation. For greater convenience the entries are cross referenced and indexed by both author and keywords. Different sections will be of interest to different people but there should be some references of interest to anyone interested in leisure.
