The huge demand of energy worldwide and the depletion of fossil based energy, is a strong reason to rapidly develop any kind of renewable energy resources, which has economical advantages and zero pollution effect. One of the renewable energy technologies aimed in this paper is the generation of electric‐energy based on fuel‐cell technology, where the input hydrogen (H2) gas is supplied by electrolysis system powered by renewable energy system based on solar cell. In this paper, the authors explain the development of electrolysis system which is powered by solar cell array to supply hydrogen for fuel‐cell system. The authors explain in detail how to design an efficient electrolysis system to obtain high ratio conversion of electric energy to hydrogen gas volume. It includes the explanation of the usage of multiple anodes with a single cathode for many solar cell inputs in a single electrolysis system. Hereinafter this is referred as multiple anode electrolysis system. This multiple anode electrolysis syst...

Linear elevator technology which robust and fast contactless transportation use magnet energy for levitation and thrust is a candidate for modern elevator. Unlike previous elevator, vibration and noise are main disturbance which have to reduce for safety and comfort requirement. This study investigate performance of Ropeless Elevator with Linear Switched Reluctance Motor when the cabin move to other level with a load and obtain another load how its reaction on current, velocity, speed and force simulation result shows that Fuzzy-PID can reduce spike until 25% on current although little ripple still occur on force. For using on varieties of load this system can use but with different controller. This paper presented the comparison of ropeles elevator performance with Fuzzy PID and PI in variations of load and distance. Model simulate with Matlab and the result is use for design a prototype for daily use.

Developing technology on ropeless or modern elevator is necessary since the high number of skyscrapers rising nowadays. in this paper a prediction of ropeless elevator performance using fuzzy controller with load and level variations is presented as a preliminary research for developing the system. Simulation with Matlab and Permanent Magnet Switched Reluctance Motor as actuator for ropeless elevator with standard fuzzy system is use based on FID sequence to do the experiment. Begin with classifying value of load into very light, light, medium, heavy, and very heavy. Scenario on experiment begin with divided into two which first value of load is varied continue with value of distance is varied. With value on current and power is fixed. Experiment result shows that system need development on the structure, mechanical and electricity as well as might be controller since high ripple arise in force as the value of load and distance is changing which will be affected stability performance of the system.

Modern Elevator or Ropeless Elevator is modern elevator which works without using rope and suitable for skyscrapers transportations. Commonly transportations activities are going up and down with variations of load and distance at least that what traditional elevator does. This research is about investigate current performance by Fuzzy-PID simulation to see how this modern elevator works with variation of load and distance as the goal is for using on human and industrial activities. Experiment is made by testing on models from previous research with variations on load and distance to analyze the effect on current, as the key for the system to force and speed. Result from the experiment with random or in order number of load and distance shows that a lot of ripple occur on current which will be effect on stabilization of the system, but in other hand few ripple occur on force and speed Which give recommend that system need more investigation on improvement for structure, electricity and controller.

The vector control has become the first alternative in control of three phase induction motor. One of the vector control method which is commonly used is the direct torque control (DTC) method. However, this system has drawback due to the existence of torque ripples. The addition of the duty ratio control base on fuzzy logic can give better performance compared to conventional DTC. By doing an examination on DTC and duty ratio using small, medium and big capacities of three phase induction motors can be shown the influence from moment of inertia to rotor rotation. This paper uses MATLAB SIMULINK for the simulation study with three types of motor power, for example 1, 10 and 50 hp. It is shown that using the same parameters, a motor with a larger moment inertia gives a better performance in comparison to a motor with smaller moment of inertia.

This paper presents a dynamic model of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEM FC) as a MISO system using an identification model. The actual PEMFC system is represented in a non linear mathematical model. By identifying the non linear model with Least Square Method, a linear state space model is generated, with and without compensation vector. Another model is derived from linearization in the operating conditions of PEMFC. The Voltage‐Current characteristics of each PEMFC models are generated from simulation results, and are compared. It can be seen that the best model is the linear model with compensation vector, since its characteristic is very similar with the typical characteristic of PEMFC. Its Criterion Function of 0.0142 is the smallest among the other models. The smaller the Criterion Function, the model can represent the actual system more accurate. The resulting model can be used for model‐based control system.

This paper proposes a strategy for reducing the estimation error due to the digitizing problem in a speed sensorless induction motor control using the speed adaptive observer. An estimated current error compensation is introduced into the rotor magnetizing currents and synchronous speeds calculations in the flux model. A modification of the full-order observer is made in order to affect the compensation strategy into the observer. This modified observer uses the rotor flux calculated by the flux model instead of estimating the flux by itself. The proposed strategy can reduce effectively the estimation error. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
