Fewer benefits are included than in the Chamber of Commerce survey, and the list includes several items such as incentive wage plans, seniority and merit increases, and suggestion plans which are not usually classified as fringes. The totals for certain benefits also are somewhat misleading because of inclusion of insurance plans wholly financed by employees and leave plans which do not provide pay.
