The aim of the article is to compare perception of state aid gained in the SEZ in Poland in the view of domestic and foreign investors against others forms of public support to entrepreneurs in Poland. The analysis is based on the results of research project entitled “The assessment of state aid effectiveness in SEZ in Poland” among entrepreneurs located in SEZ. The conducted research has led to the conclusion that domestic entrepreneurs and entities with foreign capital have similar hierarchy of aid instruments offered in SEZ. Among all of the available support instruments in SEZs tax exemption was ranked as the most attractive one.

We used staRenata Marks-Bielska, Roman Kisiel, Wiesława Lizińska 16 PDGR – PSAH tistical data derived from Minister of Interior reports on the implementation of the Act of 24th March, 1920 on the agricultural real estate acquisition by foreigners (with later amendments), CSO’s data and the results of own empirical research conducted among farmers in Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship. The aim of the work is to present the economic situation of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) and to evaluate its activities from the perspective of the farmers insured in it from the area of the County of Przasnysz. For that purpose the data gathered by the KRUS and the results of the survey conducted in 2012 covering 82 insured farmers were used. Disappointment with the currently functioning system of agricultural social insurance was declared by as many as 53.7% of the respondents. This is not equivalent to willingness to liquidate that institution. To the contrary, 73.2% of the respondents see the need for existence of a separate insurance system highlighting at the same time the necessity for upgrading it (45.1%). The changes should not involve intervention of the State in the fi nancial aspects of the KRUS but the mechanisms of computing the contributions or early retirement pensions for farmers. On numerous occasions the respondents presented arguments concerning inadequacy of the level of contributions paid to the level of benefi ts received.
