Discussion on Electromagnetic Radiation Protection Standard of Light Industrial Equipments

The popular international and Chinese electromagnetic radiation protection standards are introduced, including the ICNIRP guidelines constituted by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, the EN62233 standards established by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization and the GB 8702-88 regulations constituted by Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China, etc. The situation of the light industrial equipments electromagnetic radiation has been tested and analyzed: the power of the induction heater is often up to thousands kilowatts, and there are many electrical control components and many dense circuitries in light industrial equipments. Their complicated electromagnetic fields release continuously electromagnetic waves and engender electromagnetic radiations to the surrounding environment. And, Chinese electromagnetic radiation protection standards lack limits for band less than 100 KHz (except 50Hz). It makes the electromagnetic radiation assessment of light industrial equipments lack sufficient basis. The electromagnetic radiation protection standard of light industrial equipments was discussed and the limits for electromagnetic radiation protection of light industrial equipments are suggested.

On Adaptable Design for SCARA Manipulator with Quick-Replaceable Arms

By surveying SCARA manipulator in the market, the question that the overall length of arms is fixed, which leads its operating range to be relatively fixed, and the manipulator has badly adaptive can be found. Aiming at the problem, a SCARA manipulator whose arms can be replaced quickly had been designed according to the concept of adaptable design, and the principle of replacement arms had been put forward basing on the analysis to the minimum operating radius of manipulator in this paper. Moreover, an adaptable interface for replacing quickly different grippers during the process of production had been designed in the paper.

Adaptable Interface Design of Roller Module Rapid Replacement System

The research actuality and development of roller module replacement technology are talked over in this paper. Positioning scheme of one plane and two pins with the special rounded edge diamond pin that is suitable for the longer roller is discussed, which is meeting the parallelism tolerance requirement for the roller within the full length; thus reducing manufacturing tolerance requirement for the spacing between pin axes and reducing manufacturing difficulty. And on this basis, adaptable interface design of roller module rapid replacement system which is suitable for the longer roller has been completed. The invention patent on the roller module rapid replacement system has already been applied for, and the precise positioning of roller module can be realized.

Design and Optimization of Elevator Mechanism in Roller Module Rapid Replacement System

The elevator mechanism in roller module rapid replacement system had been designed and an optimal math model had been established aiming at the maximum thrust demanded for hydraulic cylinder of the elevator mechanism is too large in this paper. In the model, installation positional parameters of the hydraulic cylinder are used as design variables; the minimum installation distance of the hydraulic cylinder, triangle position relations formed by hydraulic cylinder and design variables, and so on are used as constraint conditions; the maximum thrust of hydraulic cylinder is used as objective functions. And the model had been solved by using the MATLAB software. The case optimization result shows: the maximum thrust of hydraulic cylinder is lessened. And design purpose has been realized.

Development of Parameterized Design System of Auto Assembly Machine Product Platform for Small Shaft and Sleeve Subassemblies

The auto assembly machine adaptable product platforms for small shaft and sleeve subassemblies are multi-stations parameterized product platform that use the number of stations as the main parameter. A parameterized design system for the product platforms is established, and the development process is introduced in detail in this paper. In using the system, only needs to input the main parameter, the design of the product platforms can be realized, 3D model drawings of parts, 3D assembly drawing and engineering drawings, which we need, can be generated quickly. Thus, the product design cycle is shortened, and the design efficiency is improved. With broad applications value, the way can be extended to the design of similar product platform.

Aiming at there are multifarious small shaft and sleeve subassemblies, in which shape and quantity of parts are different, the adaptable design concept was applied to the design of auto assembly machine product platform for small shaft and sleeve subassemblies. According to the general structure design and the module partition for the product platform, a parameterized design method that the number of stations is the main parameter was proposed. And the parameterized product platform, which can be suitable for the automatic assembling of multifarious small shaft and sleeve subassemblies and can be upgraded, was founded. Thus, the universality of the product platform is improved, and the product design cycle is shortened.

Adaptability Comprehensive Evaluation of Auto Assembly Machine Product Platform for Small Shaft and Sleeve Subassemblies

In order to perform adaptability comprehensive evaluation of auto assembly machine product platform for small shaft and sleeve subassemblies, with product family-oriented design, more reasonably and effectively, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is discussed in this paper. And the hierarchical structure of comprehensive evaluation index system, the alternative set and the comprehensive evaluation model of product platform are established through this method, thus obtaining a satisfaction value, which realizes the change from qualitative evaluation to quantitative evaluation for product platform evaluation. The result shows that the method has a strong feasibility and operability.

Study and Development of Reconfigurable and Multi-Station Auto Shaft Pressing and Assembling Machine for Small Gears

Aiming at the shaft pressing and assembling process for steel shaft and small gear, which is frequent in toy gear reducer assembling, a reconfigurable and multi-station auto shaft pressing and assembling machine had been developed. In the machine, steel shaft and small gear are positioned in a pre-positioned fixture in advance. The assembling process is carried out in three stations simultaneously. It makes the machines efficiency become higher. Applying the reconfigurable design concept, the machine can be divided into basal modules and changeable modules. The changeable modules can be adjusted or replaced to make the machine fit for components of multifarious small gears and steel shafts with different length and diameter. Each module of the machine is introduced in detail and related problems are discussed in the paper.

Spring’s Multi-Objective Optimal Design in Pre-Positioned Fixture of Shaft Pressing and Assembling Machine

Aiming at spring in pre-positioned fixture of shaft pressing and assembling machine subjected to alternating load and impact load, high working frequency and easy to fatigue failure, to guarantee spring service life and make the fixture more application scope, a multi-objective optimal math model had been established in this paper. In the model, spring’s basic structural parameters are used as design variables; strength, stiffness, and spring index and so on are used as constraint conditions; spring fatigue strength safety factor and volume are used as objective functions. And the model had been solved by using the unified objective function method and LINGO software. The example operation result shows that optimal spring volume is smaller than one of traditional design. And design purpose has been realized.
