Challenges for mobile synchronized community event applications

This letter focuses on potential applications leveraging coordination among communities of mobile devices. Coordination may be achieved by synchronizing application events across the mobile community. We explore some of the challenges in delivering directives or notifications to a large community of mobiles so that these directives or notifications are executed in a coordinated fashion.
