The Growth of the Uterus and Fetus during ate-Pregnancy in Sows

豚の妊娠後期における子宮と胎児の重量およびこれらの化学成分量に及ぼす妊娠日数,生存胎児数ならびに代謝エネルギー(ME)摂取量の影響を明らかにするために,総数で22頭の豚を用いて検討した.これら供試豚には交配時から妊娠約59日までは,中ME飼料(乾物中ME:3.20kcal/g)を1日当り平均で2.3kg給与し,妊娠60日以降は,低(乾物中ME:2.94kcal/g),中または高ME(乾物中ME:3.82kcal/g)飼料のいずれかを1日当り平均で2.3kg給与した.妊娠80日から112日の間に屠殺し,子宮全体と胎児の重量の測定およびこれらの水分(M),粗蛋白質(CP),粗脂肪(CF)および総エネルギー(GE)の分析を行なった.得られた結果を,ゴンペルツ(GOMPERTZ)曲線の対数形をモデル式として解析し,子宮総重量,平均胎児重量および子宮全体と胎児の化学成分量に及ぼす妊娠日数,生存胎児数およびME摂取量の影響を調べた.1. ME摂取量は,子宮全体の重量と平均胎児重量およびこれらの化学成分量に有意の影響を及ぼさなかった.2. 子宮全体の重量(Uw),M量(Um),CP量(Up)およびCF量(Uf)は,妊娠90日付近を変曲点として,上に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて増加した.また,子宮全体のGE量(Ue)は,妊娠90日付近を変曲点として,下に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて増加した.一方,Uw, Um, Up, UfおよびUeは,胎児数が8付近を変曲点として,下に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて増加した.3. 胎児当り平均の重量(Fw),M量(Fm)およびCF量(Ff)は,胎齢90日付近を変曲点として,上に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて増加した.また,胎児当り平均のCP量(Fp)およびGE量(Fe)は,胎齢90日付近を変曲点として,下に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて増加した.一方,FwおよびFmは,胎児数が8付近を変曲点として,下に凸のゆるい曲線を描いて減少した.Fp, FfおよびFeは,胎児数の増加に伴って,ほぼ直線的に減少した.
