The experimental setup for determination of particle sizes by nanotracking is developed. It is shown the possibility to identify particles with different fluorescent labels using developed experimental setup. The first results of analysis for samples of polystyrene micro- and nanoparticles are obtained using developed experimental setup.

The experimental setup for multispectral nanoparticle tracking analysis is developed. The optical system for sample illumination in nanoparticle tracking analysis is designed that makes it possible to obtain images of particles in suspensions with a high signal-to-noise ratio. The results of the comparison of particle size distributions obtained by nanoparticle tracking analysis using developed experimental setup, dynamic light scattering method and scanning electron microscope are shown.

Preclinical tests of a novel multiplex immunoassay for the detection of TORCH infections in human serum using flow cytometry are presented. The immunoassay is intended for the qualitative detection of specific human IgG class antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus Cytomegalovirus and Herpes virus in human serum. Multiplex analysis is performed in vitro on polystyrene microspheres encoded with organic dye. The diagnostic sensitivity of the kit is evaluated to be not less than 95%.

In this work, a sensitivity exploratory analysis of the Scalar Wave P1/3 (SWAP1/3) model to the presence of absorptive inclusions in biological media is performed. Several numerical experiments with finite slab geometries containing absorptive inclusions are carried out with this purpose. For comparison, similar numerical experiments are conducted with the diffusion equation (DE). In all the cases, the SWAP1/3 model showed a higher (and increasing) effect, compared to the DE, to increases in the inclusion absorption coefficient values. Hence, the SWAP1/3 seems more appropriate than the DE to describe light propagation in the presence of inhomogeneities with higher absorption coefficients than the surrounding biological medium.
