L’indagine e rivolta a due interessanti personaggi, Tigartao e Amage, regine barbariche della costa settentrionale del Mar Nero, le cui peculiari vicende ci sono state tramandata da un’unica fonte: Polieno. Interessante e la rappresentazione fornitaci delle due protagoniste femminili, del tutto diversa da come solitamente sono descritte le regine ellenistiche.xa0 We intend to investigate two interesting characters,xa0 Tigartaoxa0 and Amage , barbarian queens of the Northern coast of the Black Seaxa0 region, whose peculiar events we have been handed down from one source : Polyaenus . Theirxa0 representation given to us is very interesting and it is quite different from the usual description ofxa0 the Hellenistic queens .
