In this paper, the use of optical capsule for drug delivery with security is proposed. In principle, the optical capsules are generated and formed by soliton pulses within a small scale optical waveguide. The trapped molecules (drug molecules) are brought and stably confined within the device, which can move and deliver securely by the capsule gradient force to the required targets. By using the optical switching control, the trapped drugs within the specific capsules can leave to the access points via the through or drop port, where in this case the switching control is employed by light via the control port (add port). Simulation results obtained have shown that the capsule array can also be constructed and formed the large volume of drug delivery, while the switching control can form the uncapsule drugs into the drug target points. In application, the capsule array can be generated and formed the life molecule trapping, which can be available for life molecule transport within the device, for instance, stem cells, which is useful for stem cells dynamically movement, i.e. transportation to the required targets or organs.

This paper presents the use of optical device system for OOK (On-Off Keying) generation. The system consists of a MZI (Mach-Zhender Interferometer) incorporated with NRR (Non-linear Ring Resonator) to generate and communicate in optical communication. The performance of the system is calculated in terms of bit error rate (BER). In simulation, a given Gaussian pulse is input into one arm of MZI, which one part of the input power is coupled into one arm which is connected to the series microring resonators, the other is formed the reference arm. The resonant output signals are obtained by the MZI output port, whereas the alternative switching signals can be seen. The resonant output is propagated into the optical system in the transmission line. By using the practical parameters, the link performance can be calculated which can be used to analyzed system performance.

A new system of a highly tunable visible laser source using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a nonlinear microring resonator system is proposed. Several Gaussian pulses with different center wavelengths are investigated using the designed system. The obtained results have shown that the very fine tuning wavelengths cover the visible laser wavelengths can be generated. With the very sharp peak and broad spectrum, for instance, when the Gaussian input pulse with the center wavelength at 700 nm, the spectral width of 20 nm is obtained. The interesting aspect is that the increasing in microscopic recording pen (i.e. peak) can be used to increase the imaging resolution, where the multi-color imaging, especially, for multicolor bio-cell microscopy is the target.
