Model of Coulomb interaction, interaction coupling constants, and particle mass

S. Ya. Belomyttsev

A model is proposed for the elementary Coulomb interaction and a formula is given for the Coulomb interaction energy of elementary charges. It is postulated that the electron charge is elementary and that a free charge cannot be a fraction of the electron charge. An explanation is given for the mass of charged leptons and some hadrons.

Electromagnetic interaction in hadrons

S. Ya. Belomyttsev

AbstractThe electromagnetic interaction in hadrons is considered in a certain approximation. Approximate masses have been obtained for the particles π0, π±,K0, η,n, ∑0, Ξ0 and it is pointed out that the masses of the π, ∑0 and Ξ0 particles are proportional to their supposed mass compositions, i.e., proportional to the numbers 2, (16π/3+1/3), 6π. On that basis, the masses of the particles are refined:

. It is suggested that the masses of the ∑0 and Ξ0 particles should be refined by experiment.
