RETROLECTIVE STUDY OF THE LONG-TERM TREATMENT OF DEGENERATIVE DISEASES OF THE LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM WITH STW 1 IN A GENERAL PRACTICEIn this retrolective study the long-term treatment with STW 1 (Phytodolor ® ) was documented in a general practice. Extensive data were collected from 300 patients and prepared for data analysis according to advanced methodological considerations. Under STW 1 treatment a long-term improvement up to 72 weeks could be shown with respect to subjective, objective and laboratory variables. This retrolective study underlines the often underestimated potential of retrolective studies for the evaluation of long-term effectiveness of routinely used therapeutic options in medical practice.
