This paper deals with the use of fractional order PID (FOPID) controller for controlling the output response of first order systems. In this paper, the PID controller and FOPID controller has been tuned using various optimization techniques: fminsearch, fmincon, genetic and fuzzy. The simulation result shows that the FOPID controller performs better than PID controller in most cases.

In this paper, model reference adaptive control of fractional order system using ANFIS and CANFIS has been discussed. In this paper ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) has been used for the MISO (Multi input single output) system and CANFIS (Coactive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) is used for MIMO (Multi input Multi output) system. In this paper fractional order MIT rules are used to generate adaption law for MRAC. Tuning for the ANFIS and the CANFIS has been carried out by the fractional order MRAC tuning rule. Fractional order MIT rule has been used to control Fractional order system. The comparative analysis between CANFIS and ANFIS has been shown in this paper. It has been shown that the fractional order MRAC can be replaced by an appropriate neural network either in form of ANFIS or CANFIS.

In this paper, design and implementation of Neuro-Fuzzy Algorithm for Fractional Order Controller System has been carried out. Fractional order system and controller has wide application in control word. Simulation study for the fractional order transfer function using different control algorithm has been done. Fractional order system was controlled by ANFIS and Classical PID controller. Comparative analysis between ANFIS and PID has been carried out in this paper. From this analysis it is observed that ANFIS gives better performance.

Numerical analysis is the study of algorithms that use numerical approximation for the problems of mathematical analysis and control system. These Numerical Algorithms are dedicated to applying its unique expertise in numerical software engineering to delivering high quality computational software and high performance computing services. In this paper different numerical techniques for ordinary differential equations are simulated for different system models. The system will be modeled using differential equations. The differential equations will be solved using available numerical methods. The comparative analysis will be carried out for different numerical methods using advanced software tools. The hardware implementation of the numerical methods will be done using real time embedded system/hardware.
