Whilst significant research attention has focussed on maintaining health in later life, our knowledge about how residential location might affect older peoples physical mental and social wellbeing remains limited. Thus, this paper investigates how residence, either living in a retirment village or the community, might impact on the wellbeing of older men, who remain relatively invisible in gerontological research.
