This paper presents an application, Join the Board (JTB), which provides shared and collaborative work environments between digital iPhone and iPad devices through a Network of Local Area (LAN) over a Wi-Fi connection. It has only been developed for the family of iPad and iPhone version of equal or higher than the 5.1 operating system. JTB provides digital boards to all devices that are connected to the application. There are two types of board and different role to work with it. Users can work on board with a turn management. JTB was development behind some design pattern. Also, improves a new and specific communication protocol to manage the entire dialog between devices. This paper shows a completely case study.

European convergence towards European Higher Education Area demands an important innovation process in the academic assessment system. In this sense, a model based of learning-centered on student, along the same lines as continuous assessment, presents some advantages which are exposed in this paper thanks to the introduction of an additional assessment in the subject of Software Engineering.

European convergence towards European Higher Education Area demands an important innovation process in the academic assessment system. In this sense, a model-based of student-centred learning, as a continuous assessment methodology, presents some advantages which are exposed in this paper thanks to the introduction of an additional assessment in the subject of software engineering. This article presents the principles, structure, contents and process of continuous assessment developed in the software engineering course at the program of Computer Science Education at the University of Salamanca. It also presents the results of the evaluation process as well as appreciations from students and teaching team.
