蒸留塔内の各段上で液相に反応が存在する多段反応蒸留操作問題では, 反応速度が組成と温度に関し複雑な関数形で与えられるため, それが存在しない通常の多段蒸留操作問題よりその非線形性はさらに強くなる.本報では複雑なNewton-Raphson法 (Komatsu and Holland, 1977) などによることなく, しかも反応個々に与えられる速度式の記述を除き, 等モルおよび非等モル反応に共通する簡明なアルゴリズムをもつ逐次緩和法にもとづく多段反応蒸留操作問題の一般化解法を示し, 数値計算例によってその有用性を示す.
