Self-regulated learning (SRL) is an academically effective form of learning, which learners must set their goals and make plans before starting to learn. As an ongoing process, learners need to monitor and regulate their cognition, motivation, and behavior as well as reflect on their learning process. These processes will be repeated as a cyclic process. The emerging technologies have changed the learning environments. Technology delivers teaching to learners via online. In online learning, information of education and learners do not share the same physical setting. Online learning should provide opportunities for learners to master necessary tasks. Online learners may use SRL strategies. In this research, we have collected, synthesized, and analyzed 130 articles on various topics related to SRL that published from 1986 to 2017, focusing on online learning and mathematics. We noted several models, phases, and few other topics discussed under SRL.

In the present paper, we consider and investigate a certain class of close-to-convex functions that defined in the unit disk, U = {z : |z| δ where |α| δ and 0 δ <1. Furthermore, we obtain preliminary result for bound f’(z) and determine result for radius of convexity.

Let Jρ (a, β) denote the subclass of normalized analytic functions f in the open unit disk D={z:|z| 0 for some 0 < α ≤ 1, 0 ≤ β < 1 where g (z) ∈ S* (ρ), g (z) ≠ 0 is a normalized starlike function of order ρ for 0 ≤ ρ < 1. For f ∈ J ρ (a, β), we obtain the sharp upper bounds for the Fekete – Szego functional |a3−μa22| where μ is real.

In this paper, the concentration is on the class of α – close-to-convex functions, G k(α,δ) where functions f, analytic and univalent in the open unit disc E in this class satisfy the condition Re{eiαf′(z)g′(z)}>δ, with |α|≤π, cosα>δ, and g′(z)=11−z. We find the bounds for f(z)z and f′(z) and obtain results for the radius of univalence and the radius of starlikeness for the class G k (α,δ).

Let Sα*(ω,δ,A,B) be the class of functions which are analytic and univalent in an open unit disc of the form f(z) = (z−ω)+ ∑ n = 2∞an(z−ω)n and normalized with f(ω) = 0 and f′(ω)−1 = 0 where ω is a fixed point in E and satisfy (eiα(z−ω)f′(z)f(z)−δ−isinα)1cosα−δ = 1+Aφ(z)1+Bφ(z),φ∈Ω(ω) where cosα > δ and |α|<π2. The aim of this paper is to obtain the coefficient bounds for this class of functions. The results generalize some known existing results in the literature.

We define GSt(α,δ) be the class of function f,f(0) = f′(0)−1 = 0 and satisfying Re{eiαzf′(z)g(z)}>δ,0≤δ δ and g(z) = z1−z2. For this class of function, we find certain extremal properties and the bound of GSt(α,δ).

Let S denote the class of analytic functions defined on Δ = {z:|z| γ for some α > 0, β ≥ 0 and 0 ≤ γ 0. By making use of the theorem proved by Ruscheweyh and Sheil-Small, some convolution properties of the class Gα,β(γ,δ) are obtained.
