This paper presents a wireless data acquisition system for substation based on IEC61850 and WIA-PA, which can standardize the monitoring data transmission in a wireless way. First, the system structure is introduced, Second, the intelligent gateway and wireless adapter of system are designed, Finally, the validity of the system has been verified according to the practical application in the intelligent substation.

Time Synchronization of Wireless Recording System for Transformer Substation

According to the requirements and characteristics of wireless recording system in transformer substation, the feasibility of Referenced Broad Synchronization (RBS) algorithm is analyzed. As the RBS has large overhead and poor fault tolerance, an improved RBS algorithm based on the best linear is proposed. The improved RBS algorithm establishes a new synchronization model on the basis of the system features and reduces the synchronization cost. It estimates clock offset and clock skew by using the minimum variance unbiased (MVU) estimation to compensate for the time, and also improves the synchronization accuracy by filtering abnormal data points. The simulation results demonstrate that the improved RBS algorithm can effectively reduce the number of exchange times of synchronization messages and improve the synchronization accuracy.

Research of fault indication system based on WIA industrial wireless technology for distribution network

Aiming at the problem of the regional data to centralized remote transmission in distribution network fault indication system, this paper presents a scheme based on WIA industrial wireless technology. The structure and operation principle are introduced, the application requirement, technical difficulties and solution of the WIA industrial wireless technology in distribution network fault indication system application are analyzed. In a city 10KV line on the application, the scheme is proved to have the advantages of high efficiency of data transmission and low investment cost.
