A Novel Monopulse Estimation Algorithm Using Projection Method

An approach to the monopulse estimation with digital adaptive beam forming(DBF) is researched here. This paper extends orthogonal projections(OP) to the monopulse DBF. In monopulse DBF, by ignoring the target signal included in the received data, the proposed method based on OP can efficiently solve mismatch problem between target signal direction and array specified direction, thus make the sum beam direct at specified direction correctly and difference beam have no zero point shifted. In the method proposed in this paper way to settle the calculation cost problem caused by eigende composition of OP is also given. Simulation results verify the validity of the algorithm.

Application of 2-D RELAX algorithm to SAR superresolution imaging

Design and develop a set of microwave imaging system based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR)technique. Superresolution array processing methods have been applied to SAR imaging in order to improve the resolution. The application of the 2-D RELAX algorithm in SAR imaging is introduced in this paper. Therefore, the higher resolution can be obtained by using the RELAX algorithm instead of the FFT. The experimental results show the effectiveness of RELAX algorithm.

Implement of a Set of Microwave Imaging System

In this paper, a set of microwave imaging system based on SAR (synthetic aperture radar) technology is developed. Wide-band FM CW is applied to realize high rang resolution and SAR technology is used to realize high azimuth resolution. The experimental results show that the design system works well, and 2D image is obtained.
