Although treatment strategies for lymphoma may include hematopoietic cell transplant, quantitative surveillance recommendations that were accessed for lymphoma patients did not distinguish between those with or without transplant. The guidelines in Chapter 26 should be considered applicable to all lymphoma patients, including those whose treatment includes transplant. The surveillance strategies related to immunosuppression are not discussed in this textbook.
