Correlation between the Intermolecular Potential in the Liquid Crystalline Phase and Viscosity

The correlation between the intermolecular potential in the liquid crystalline phase and viscosity was studied using a quantum physical method. It was found that there are strong correlations between the intermolecular potential and viscosity for both liquid crystals composed of one component and mixtures of multi-components of liquid crystals.
