This paper full-scale simulates the processes of mixing combustion of ultra-low calorific value gas and high-temperature oxygen gas by using k-e turbulence model, non-premixed combustion model and P1 radiation model. Through comparing the different swirl angles on the impact of ultra-low calorific value gas combustion, the results showed that: in the same air and gas flow rates, 60° swirl burner has better combustion ability, the temperature field and velocity field of combustion chamber are more uniform, combustible gas and oxygen concentration of the export are also lower.

The basic principle and technical features of regenerative combustion technology is induced. Considering the problems faced in the development of current tubular furnace, the application feasibility of high temperature air combustion technology in tubular furnace is analyzed. A set of experimental installation of regenerative combustion tubular furnace is established in this paper. The experiment result shows that the regenerative heat exchanger is capable of decreasing the flue gas temperature in the tubular furnace under the dew-point temperature, the latent heat of condensate vapor is recovered, and the thermal efficiency is over 100% calculated by low calorific value. The impact of the switching time on the thermal efficiency is analyzed. Considering the thermal efficiency and equipment reliability, it is believed that the switching time between 40∼60s is reasonable.

As a engineering practice of Datang Huayin lignite pyrolysis, this paper studies the recycling use of 1200 kJ/kg lignite pyrolysis by using the swirl burner based on grading fire in recirculation zone. By the method of low-calorific-value gas fuel mix burning with high-calorific-value gas fuel, this experiment successfully achieved the stable combustion of lignite pyrolysis gas, and the heating ratios of high-calorific-value gas and low-calorific-value gas can achieve 21% and 79%, maximize save energy and the high-calorific-value fuel cost.
