Design and implementation of novel SPIHT algorithm for image compression

At the Estimation of Image Coders, using PSNR is of undecided perceptual power, but there are numbers of algorithms including temporarily computable decoders. PSNR might not be calculated.With a simple rearrangement of a transmit bit stream, the SPIHT algorithm can be made temporarily computable without any loss in performance. We present experimental results comparing this SPIHT against modified SPIHT in terms of the PSNR at which, viewers understand matter in the reconstructed images. MSPIHT is also compared with SPIHT images which have downwards to the scale as the MSPIHT images. We show that the viewers are able to recognize reduced images such as those compressed by MSPIHT significantly earlier than images compressed by SPIHT. Out of these, we have tried to implement and simulate the MSPIHT (Set partitioning in hierarchical trees) technique for Image compression. The MSPIHT technique has better compression ratio, the maximum compression ratio is the stimulation and Implementation of MSPIHT. Image compression is carried on MATLAB. The tabulated results of MATLAB are listed for the analysis purpose.

In this paper a detail analysis and discussion on the related technique have been presented for heart disease prediction so that we can prevent it in the earlier stages. For fulfilling the above objective data mining and optimization techniques have been considered for review. The data mining and optimization techniques can help in preparing an intelligent framework for heart disease prediction.

An intrusion detection system (IDS) is an application platform that records system fuss for malicious activities and management of these activities. It is a malicious attack identification technique. It allows identifying Denial of service (DoS), User to root (U2R), Remote to login (R2L) and Probe attack. There are several communication mechanism are rely on the networking today so the need of data security is important concern. The main aim of this paper is to focusing on improving attack detection rates. For this we have analyzed the KDD intrusion detection dataset. The main method for approaching this detection and analysis are data mining and optimization techniques for this study.

Wavelet-based watermarking for copy rights protection

In this paper, a wavelet based scheme for digital image watermarking is presented. This proposed scheme inserts two watermarks in an image which serves two different purposes. The first one is inserted using blind watermarking technique while second one acts as fragile watermark. As it is blind watermarking technique, there is no need of original image at the time of watermark extraction. The insertion of watermark is based on selection of suitable coefficients which are obtained after applying two-level wavelet decomposition. The result produced by this watermarking scheme is good as compared to conventional watermarking techniques.

Awareness in Congestion for Multipath Load Balancing in MANET

Mobile communication plays a vital role in disaster recovery management during emergency situations. It is helpful in situations where the system has less robust and less flexible infrastructure. However, the rapid growth in number and multiplicity of real-time network applications has made it imperative to consider the impact of end-to-end delay requirements of traffic on network. The research papers are published to increase the network performance on the network layer. In this paper, we propose a Reliable and Efficient Load balancing Technique in presence of congestion. It is based on AODV Protocol in Mobile Ad hoc Networks. In this protocol, a weight function based on route length, traffic load, energy level and freshness of each route is calculated and stored in the route cache. We propose a congestion aware multi-path routing protocol for load balancing in MANET. When the source node wants to forward the data packet to the destination, it uses the reactive route discovery technique where the multiple paths are well-known using multi-path Dijkstra algorithm. This paper combines a multipath routing protocol with load balancing concept and presents a new protocol called AC-AODV. We use NS-2.34 to simulate the scenario. The simulation’s result shows the significant performance enhancement of the network for the multipath routing protocol with load balancing. The simulation results illustrate that the proposed load balanced routing protocol improves packet delivery ratio and reduces the delay.
