A Mobile Agent Oriented Method of Simulating the Interaction Between a Built Environment and the Occupants’ Action

Haruyuki Fujii; Shoichi Nakai

The thermal comfort of a built environment in question and the nergy efficiency of the building providing the built environment is one of the spects that plays an important role in the decision making in architectural esign.. However, it is not easy to deal with the interaction between a built nvironment and actions of occupants that change the environment in a onventional way of architectural environment simulation. Focusing on the nteraction, the authors propose a method of mediating programs, which valuate the quality of a building or simulate the performance from different spects, in a Mobile Agent Oriented Community, so as to compose a module of the esign support system.
