The wire-ground electromagnetic coupling structures are quite common in avionics system electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis. The increasing complexities of physical structures make electromagnetic modeling an increasingly tough task, and computational e-ciency is desirable. In this paper, a novel selective mesh approach is presented for partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) modeling where intense coupling parts are meshed while the remaining parts are eliminated. With the proposed approach, the meshed ground plane is dependent on the length and height of the above wires. Relevant compact formulae for determining mesh boundaries are deduced, and a procedure of general mesh generation is also given. A numerical example is presented, and a validation check is accomplished, showing that the approach leads to a signiflcant reduction in unknowns and thus computation time and consumed memories, while preserving the su-cient precision. This approach is especially useful for modeling the electromagnetic coupling of wires and reference ground, and it may also be beneflcial for other equivalent circuit modeling techniques.

The differences between the direct test method and the indirect test method are found based on the definition of the radiation safety margin in this paper. The mechanisms of the external radiation interference on the system are discussed. A new test method considering the earth line common mode interference and secondary radiation effect is presented. The new test method has high efficiency and low cost. The test results of the new test method are in agreement with the ones of the direct test method.

In electromagnetic sensitivity (EMS) test, the efficiency and veracity of experiments is strongly affected by automatic amplitude control method of signal generator. There are two aspects in those control method. One is the proper set on the initial value of amplitude. The other one is amplitude adjustment method based on initial value. Based on these two aspects, some efficient ways of automatically tuning method of signal generator were summarized in engineer experiments for engineerspsila reference.

This paper presents and validates a new design method for evaluating the noise and gain behavior of the RF receiver. The proposed technique is based on the noise power spectrality. The noise models for LNA, IF amplifier and mixer are provided to illuminate the detailed design procedure. The validity and efficiency of the proposed design approach has been demonstrated by an ultrashort broadcasting station receiver example and fair agreement has been obtained between the theoretical and simulated results.
