El pensamiento sistemico contribuyo al origen del pensamiento agroecologico con aportaciones desde la teoria general de sistemas y la cibernetica como su base teorica primigenia. Asi, la agroecologia en los anos 70 del siglo pasado pudo erigirse como una nueva forma de pensar y hacer ciencia en relacion con el quehacer agricola al intentar ir mas alla del enfoque reduccionista predominante. El estudio de la realidad agricola contemporanea exige planteamientos nuevos que permitan comprender sus dimensiones, para lo cual los principios basados en el modelo input-output que funciona bajo un controlador cibernetico resultan insuficientes. En consecuencia, el proposito de este manuscrito fue analizar la evolucion del pensamiento sistemico y su trascendencia en el pensamiento agroecologico, al brindar a este ultimo herramientas teorico-conceptuales para estudiar fenomenos agricolas actuales a traves de los sistemas complejos, y con ello, involucrar aspectos poco explorados en su abordaje tradicional como la historia, la politica y la cultura.

For years, there has been empirical evidence of program benefits of educational programs for older people; however, today there are few studies differentials on the dynamics of this phenomenon from the perspective of gender, despite evidence that women participate in greater numbers than men in those programs. This paper explores the characteristics of the educational experience with older women in the field of non-formal education, with the aim of knowing the implications of this for learning throughout life, as well as to improve quality of life of participants. For this purpose it has the opinion of the protagonists, through the project “Living Your Age Woman” developed at social centers in the Region of Murcia, implemented with the view of the professionals who work with this collective. Has been used a qualitative methodology, analyzing reality through semi-structured interviews and in depth. Among the results highlight that older women are demanding socio-educational spaces to move towards a proactive education, different to the inequity situation of the traditional education system. It is also important to note that, during their participation significantly emerge dialogic, expressive, relational and emotional aspects; thus, older women acquire support strategies for relational, family and personal environment. Meanwhile, professionals state that the implemented educational and cultural programs for older women, must start from the needs of the elderly themselves, conducted with activities that have meaning and sense to them. Therefore, it advocates a respectful educational model, according to the particular idiosyncrasies of older women.

This article attempts to analyze the retirement contrasting the traditional negative outlook with much more positive views, which emphasize the possibilities of educational work to achieve a quality retirement that could be extrapolated beyond the personal level, projecting towards the community level. In this sense, this work bets on participative methodologies that to use communication processes like its more important strategy of group.

The present article tries to analize the situation of immigrant elderly people and the term mediation with its “surname” intercultural in a more plural society, as a consecuence of immigration and the growth of diversity in the structure of human groups. Cultural diversity is living with us, and besides we are getting older. For that reason we considerer to promote communication and intercultural mediation for preventing, resolving and modifying the construction of a more plural, more diverse and intercultural society with no exclusion of cultural groups and avoiding the discrimination for age or origin.
