Colorectal Cancer And Screening

To reduce the disease burden of CRC, early detection and treatment during the initial stages is the key and this can be achieved by appropriate screening. As the Hong Kong Government’s Cancer Expert Working Group on Cancer Prevention and Screening (CEWG) recommends, individuals aged 50 to 75 should discuss with their doctors and consider screening for CRC. Those at increased risk of CRC should start CRC screening at an earlier age.
