Gestão de material médico-hospitalar e o processo de trabalho em um hospital público

Este es un estudio exploratorio descriptivo con abordaje cualitativo. Objetivo-se identificar la percepcion de la gestion de materiales medico hospitalarios en el proceso de los profesionales que trabajan en un hospital publico de mediana complejidad. Se ha obtenido la informacion mediante la pregunta: ?Como influye la gestion de materiales en su proceso de trabajo? El informe del analisis ha permitido identificar cinco categorias denominadas: la falta de autonomia en la eleccion de los materiales, la falta de mantenimiento de los equipos, la burocracia en el proceso de compra, la mala calidad y la falta de envolvimiento de los profesionales en la gestion Se ha encontrado que la gestion de materiales esta centrada en la direccion de la enfermeria, lo que requiere una mayor participacion de otros profesionales en la eleccion de los materia les en uso, buscando asi la reduccion de las debilidades en ese proceso.This article presents an exploratory-descriptive study structured in a qualitative approach. The main objective was to identify the perception of medical-hospital materials on the work process of professionals in a medium complexity public hospital. Information has been collected using the research question: How does the materials management process influence work process? The report analysis has identified five different categories: lack of autonomy in the choice of materials, lack of maintenance of equipment, bureaucracy in the purchasing process, poor quality and absence of professional involvement in the materials management. It is concluded that the materials management is focused on the nursing direction, which requires greater involvement of other professionals in the materials choice used to reduce the weakness in that process.

O significado do cuidado perioperatório para o idoso

Aim: to identify the significance of perioperative care for elderly patients. Method: qualitative anddescriptive research held with nine elderly patients of both genres in a university hospital in northern Parana. Data were collected through semistructured interviews pre-arranged with the participants. Results: the analysis enabled the construction of three categories: the elderly surgical and hospitalization, the elderly and the meaning of self-care and care for the elderly. Conclusion: it was observed the uniqueness of meanings of care expressedand their influence in the treatment. Adequate communication by healthcare was an important strategy to provide greater comfort. Considering nursing as care agent, develop a team prepared to meet the changes coming of age and surgical procedure has become critical to improve care for the elderly. The attention and emotional support were significant when perioperative characterized as essential to humanizing the care process.

Teoria tornar-se humano: prática em grupo de pré-aposentadoria

Objetivo : identificar os principios da teoria Tornar-se Humano em um grupo de reflexao sobre a aposentadoria. Metodo: pesquisa descritiva de abordagem qualitativa desenvolvida com cinco pre-aposentados de uma instituicao universitaria publica localizada no norte do Parana. Realizaram-se cinco encontros entre julho e novembro de 2012. Os discursos foram analisados com a utilizacao dos principios da teoria Tornar-se Humano, de Rosemarie Parse, que sao: significado, ritmos sincronizados e co-transcendencia. Resultados: constatou-se que e possivel a utilizacao da teoria em grupos como o estudado, ja que os principios abordados vao ao encontro da ideia de que a saude e bem-estar sao influenciados pelas situacoes vivenciadas ao longo da vida. Consideracoes finais: o estudo revela que os pre-aposentados percorrem principios propostos pela teoria e quando concretizam a imagem da aposentadoria, buscam conhecimento e transformacao para o enfrentamento desta etapa da vida, o que resulta na producao de um pensamento estruturado sobre o tema.

Estruturação do internato de enfermagem na percepção dos internos

Nursing training in a theoretical and practical context aims at obtaining a professional able to cope with adversities presented by different health scenarios and population profiles. The study aimed to understand the perception of nursing interns about the practical and theoretical structuring of the State University of Londrina nursing internship. A qualitative methodology was employed to obtain data through the question: What is your opinion of the structuring of the internship in practical and theoretical terms? After the data analysis, four categories were formed: educational practices used in theoretical meetings; linking theoretical and practical aspects of the internship from the student’s point of view; possibilities and challenges found in the hospital setting and possibilities and challenges found in public health. It was concluded that the interns have been satisfied as far as the theoretical and practical structuring of the internship is concerned, and the students have been able to identify with the area. The challenges include more extensive teaching of management in carrying out the internship.

The role of a nurse in the management of medical-hospital material: an integrative review

The object of the study is the management of medical-hospital supplies. This is an area that requires the nurse to have specific knowledge and which has currently sparked discussions among experts on the subject. Aim: To characterize the production of knowledge on the management of medical-hospital material conducted by nurses. Methods: A retrospective, descriptive method that followed the steps of an integrative review. For the research the Lilacs, Medline and Google scholardatabases were used. Results: We found 104 studies, of which ten were selected. The analysis of the publications showed that the management of material has been discussed in the context of educational practices, control of costs and materials, as a working tool, and from the perspective of the nurse in material management. Discussion: It is necessary to incorporate the theme in the working process of nurses, providing critical thinking in relation to management. Conclusion: The expansion of scientific production and greater interest of nurses in this area are essential.

The trajectory of the nursing intern at the state university of londrina: documentary analysis

Objective: to analyze the trajectory of the nursing intern at the University from 1992 to 2012. Method: a descriptive, historical documentary in the qualitative approach. The theoretical framework of Paulo Freire was chosen for this study. The localization and identification of available documents will be made that describe the intern in the Nursing Course at UEL and an analysis of the documents will follow the research question. The dissertation ́s goal is integrated with the research project: Integrated curriculum of a nursing course: educational management and vocational training approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Londrina CAAE: 0323.0.268 000-11. Expected outcome: seeks to contribute significantly to the practice of internship and produce new scientific publications, offering contribute with the structuring of other institutions thus strengthening articulation areas.
