SURVEI KEBERADAAN IKAN CAKALANG Katsuwonus pelamis DI TELUK BONE

Rini Sahni Putri; Indra Jaya; Sri Pujiyati

The presence of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) is always subject to change depending on the condition of the surrounding waters favored by the fish. This study gives prediction of the existence of skipjack in the Bone Bay waters by using satellite remote sensing data and an overview of length-weight relationship obtained from fisheries survey. Satellite remike mote sensing data such as sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a obtained from the NASA database with a spatial resolution of 4 km and a temporal resolution 8-day composite in Bone Bay waters. Fishery survey data such as position data, the fish catches, the length and weight of skipjack were obtained fishing base from two different locations namely Sinjai and Luwu. Satellite remote sensing data and fisheries survey data (position of the catch) were overlaid to determine the environmental conditions that are favor by skipjack. The results showed that the skipjack mostly found many in the waters with sea surface temperature range between 28.42°C to 31.12°C and with chlorophyll-a concentration between 0.1335 mg/m³ to 0.9542 mg/m³. Based on the length-weight relationship, the growth pattern of skipjack were caught in the waters of the Gulf of Bone is allometric negative. The presence of skipjack Katsuwonus pelamis is always subject to change depending on the condition of the surrounding watersfavored by the fish. Beam pattern resulting from Discrete Equispaced Unshaded Line Array method is to analyze the pattern of two-dimensional beam pivot at the angle of sound waves coming from the direction of origin on the axis of the received array, will affect the sound beam angle. This research was conducted in December 2016 in the Punggur Sea, Batam, Riau Islands-Indonesia, and its coordinate system is 104? 08.7102 E and 1? 03.2448 N until 1? 03.3977 N and 104? 08.8133 E, DEULA method in target 4 has the highest value in the directivity pattern is 21.08 dB. The results of the beam pattern model show that neither the central value at the incidence angle (?) of the directivity pattern (dB) were not at the 0 (zero) or the beam pattern central have been generated by the target 6 with incident angle -1.5? and 1.5?. In addition, it has declined by 40 dB. Highest result of line trace is target 1 with 191, 88 cm on target 1, and highest of time result is 13568 cm/second on target 4. Seismic figure of side scan sonar imagery have total line trace is 4479, time: 77.9547 cm/s, and gain: 0.00271091.

Whistle sound is generally used for echolocation purposes, while the sound of the blast-beat and whistles play a major role in internal and inter-group communication. The purpose of this research is to know the power spectral patterns and fluctuations in sound based on frequency and Power Spectral Density (PSD) of the sounds produced by dolphins and observing the position of dolphins, Noisy Time Domain (NTD) and behavior using underwater camera, and also comparing between time and sound spectrum. Data recording was taken at the Safari Park of Cisarua Bogor in Indonesia, by taking data in show pool and show pool. The results showed that salinity before feeding time in the show pool with replication 1,2, and 3 has salinity value that is equal to 30%. Data at the show pool before feeding with replications 1,2, and 3 has a salinity of 29%. Power Spectral Density (PSD) of the whistle sound before feeding was different from one another, but it has the same frequency range. The highest intensity values is at sound whistle 3 before feeding time at the show pool with an intensity value of 28.03 dB/Hz with frequency interval of 14642-16000 Hz. F-test at the show pool before meals has heterogeneous value. Treat before meals at the show pool has a value of P < 0.001 and P < 0.001. Value Noisy Time Domain has differences with each other and has a lot of different sound patterns. In general, there are real differences are evidenced by F test on a range of time at each whistle on physiotherapy and swimming pool show in the time before meals. The position of dolphins in a pool show more dominant and often in the bottom of the pool, the position of the dolphins affects the frequency.

Detection Backscatter Value of Mangrove Crab (Scylla Sp.) Using Cruzpro Fishfinder Pcff-80 Hydroacoustic Instrument

Muhammad Zainuddin Lubis; Sri Pujiyati

Hydroacoustic method has been used in various field of marine research. Use hydroacoustic method is a method developed to obtain information about the mangrove crab (Scylla sp.). This study analyses the value Target Strength (TS), Power Spectral Density (PSD), and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) used the instrument hidroakustik. Data collection was performed at the Laboratory of Marine Acoustics using instruments CruzPro PCFF-80 operated with a frequency of 200 kHz. Results of detection of the target by looking at the value of Target strength, strongest TS value can be seen at a depth of 0.6 meters from the transducer with estimations it is the result of target detection. The target strength (TS) of the mangrove crab (Scylla sp.) ranged between –50 and –54 dB. TS value at ping number of 0-500 have a greater value is the value of -55 dB, TS value at that time have in common with TS value at ping number 2500-3000. SV value is no different than the value of TS is caused using 1 target. Echo level (EL) value versus time has highest peak in the range of 115 dB with the lapse ping number is 15-25, with values that are at the end of the echo of ping number of 70 with value is 132 dB rated Power Spectral Density (PSD) is actually located at 2900 s, and depth of a pool is not affect the value of backscatter targets.
