Higgs Strahlung at the Large Hadron Collider in the 2-Higgs-doublet model

Robert V. Harlander; Stefan Liebler; T. Zirke

A bstractWe present a calculation of all relevant contributions to associated production of a Higgs boson with a weak gauge boson in the 2-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) at the LHC, pp → ϕ, with ϕ ∈ {h, H0, A} and V ∈ {W, Z}. While for the W ϕ mode, this mostly amounts to a simple rescaling of the Standard Model (SM) cross section, the Zϕ cross section depends on several 2HDM parameters. The ratio σWϕ/σZϕ, for which we present the currently most complete SM prediction, therefore appears to be a sensitive probe of possible New Physics effects. We study its numerical dependence on the top and bottom Yukawa couplings, including their sign. Furthermore, we consider the Wϕ/Zϕ ratio in exemplary 2HDM scenarios and briefly address the effects in the boosted regime. Analogous studies for other 2HDM scenarios will become possible with an upcoming version of the program vh@nnlo which incorporates the 2HDM effects.

Towards precise predictions for Higgs-boson production in the MSSM

E.A. Bagnaschi; Robert V. Harlander; Stefan Liebler; Hendrik Mantler; P. Slavich; A. Vicini

A bstractWe study the production of scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons via gluon fusion and bottom-quark annihilation in the MSSM. Relying on the NNLO-QCD calculation implemented in the public code SusHi, we provide precise predictions for the Higgs-production cross section in six benchmark scenarios compatible with the LHC searches. We also provide a detailed discussion of the sources of theoretical uncertainty in our calculation. We examine the dependence of the cross section on the renormalization and factorization scales, on the precise definition of the Higgs-bottom coupling and on the choice of PDFs, as well as the uncertainties associated to our incomplete knowledge of the SUSY contributions through NNLO. In particular, a potentially large uncertainty originates from uncomputed higher-order QCD corrections to the bottom-quark contributions to gluon fusion.

Light Stop Mass Limits from Higgs Rate Measurements in the MSSM: Is MSSM Electroweak Baryogenesis Still Alive After All?

Stefan Liebler; Stefano Profumo; Tim Stefaniak

Z3-invariant Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at proton colliders. For gluon fusion we adapt well-known asymptotic expansions in supersymmetric particles for the inclusion of next-to-leading order contributions of squarks and gluinos from the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and include electroweak corrections involving light quarks. Together with the resummation of higher-order sbottom contributions in the bottom-quark Yukawa coupling for both production processes we thus present accurate cross section predictions implemented in a new release of the code SusHi. We elaborate on the new features of an additional SU
