A high performance, Ka-Band, dielectrically loaded dual mode cavity filter has been developed. It utilizes higher order HE12δ modes to achieve high Q factors, wide tuning range, and a large range of bandwidths. Similarity of the design with a more conventional HE11δ design results in high commonality of parts with Ku-band designs and thus lower cost.

This paper discusses a microstrip hybrid coupled input multiplexer of a compact channelizer for satellite application. Reduction in size, mass, and cost is achieved by the proposed hybrid coupled microstrip multiplexer design when compared to the conventional circulator coupled approach. Background theory, design process, and results of this novel approach are presented and compared with the circulator coupled design.
