Description of five new species of eriophyid mites (Acari: Eriophyidae) from Guangxi, China

Abstract Five new species, four in two genera of Anthocoptini and one in Tegonotini, are described and illustrated from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. They are: Neodactylus scolitergus n. sp. infesting Mallotus philippinensis (Lam.) Muell Arg. (Euphorbiaceae); Tegolophus championii n. sp. infesting Bauhinia championii (Benth.) Benth. (Fabaceae); Tegolophus tremae n. sp. infesting Trema angustifolia (Planch) Blume (Ulmaceae), Tegolophus clerodendrumi n. sp. infesting Clerodendrum serratum (Linn.) Moon (Verbenaceae) and Tegonotus castanopsisi n. sp. infesting Castanopsis eyrei (Champ. & Benth.) Tutch. (Fagaceae). Keys to the species of Tegolophus and Tegonotus from Guangxi, China are provided.

Three new species of eriophyoid mites from China (Acari: Eriophyoidea)

Three new species of eriophyoid mites from South China are described and illustrated: Trisetacus zhejiangensis sp. nov. infesting Pinus massoniana Lamb. (Pinaceae); Acaricalus betulae sp. nov. infesting Betula utilis Don (Betulaceae); Calacarus communis sp. nov. infesting Lindera communis Hemsl. (Lauraceae).

Description of three new species of Nothopodinae (Acari: Eriophyidae) from South China

Abstract Three new species are described and illustrated in this paper. They are: Anothopoda ichangensis n. sp. infesting Machilus ichangensis var. leiophylla (Lauraceae), Surapoda tianlinensis n. sp. infesting Litsea sp. (Lauraceae) and Surapoda zanthoxylumae n. sp. infesting Zanthoxylum sp. (Rutaceae).
