A study on the nonstoichiometry of tin oxides by coulometric titration

Abstract In this investigation, nonstoichiometries and defect structures of tin oxides were studied between 694 and 990 K by coulometric titration using solid state electrolyte (YSZ) cells. The relationship between nonstoichiometry of the oxide (x) and equilibrium oxygen partial pressure (Po2) was expressed by the proportionality: xαP O 2 − 1 6 . An intermediate oxide phase, Sn3O4 between Sn and SnO2 was observed in the temperature range of 696–732 K. The standard Gibbs energy of formation of Sn3O4 via the reaction; 1 2 Sn 3 O 4 → 3 2 Sn + O 2 was found to be ΔG o Sn 3 O 4 = −1163960+417.36 T ( J mol ) . The standard Gibbs energy change for the defect formation reaction in SnO2−x was calculated to be ΔG o SnO 2− x = 3.05×10 5 −38.97 T ( J mol )) .

Thermodynamic properties of the intermetallic compounds Re2Fe14B (Re≡La, Ce, Y)

Abstract The intermetallic compounds Re 2 Fe 14 B (Re La, Ce, Y) with tetragonal structure were prepared. The chemical thermodynamic properties of the compounds were studied by using a galvanic cell with a CaF 2 single crystal as a solid electrolyte having an Re/ReF 3 reference electrode in the temperature range 900–1020 K.

采用分形理论和不稳分解模型结合Monte-Carlo方法对CaO-MgO-Fe2O3-Al2O3-SiO2-SiO2系玻璃的分相进行了计算机模拟,应用分维数定性描述,探讨了玻璃分相的机理,CMFAS系统玻璃在710℃保温2h后产生分相,分相形貌具有分形特征。

Thermodynamic studies of YFe12−xVx and SmFe12−xVx alloys

Abstract The Invar alloys of YFe12−xVx (x=1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 2.8, 3.2) and SmFe12−xVx (x=2.4, 2.8) were prepared. The activity and the relative partial molar Gibbs free energy of the yttrium and samarium in the alloys were determined by the e.m.f. method using a single crystal of CaF2 as a solid electrolyte at temperatures of 920–1020 K and 900–1000 K respectively.
