Uniqueness of meromorphic functions sharing three sets – Further study

Abhijit Banerjee; Sujoy Majumder

Abstract The notion of weighted sharing of sets is employed to deal with the problem of uniqueness of meromorphic functions sharing three sets. We obtain two results which radically improve and extend a number of results in [2] and [3].

A note on some results of Li and Li

Sujoy Majumder; Somnath Saha

The purpose of the paper is to study the uniqueness problems of linear differential polynomials of entire functions sharing a small function and obtain some results which improve and generalize the related results due to J. T. Li and P. Li (2015). Basically we pay our attention to the condition λ(f) 6= 1 in Theorems 1.3, 1.4 from J. T. Li and P. Li (2015). Some examples have been exhibited to show that conditions used in the paper are sharp.

Further results on uniqueness of derivatives of meromorphic functions sharing three sets

Abhijit Banerjee; Sujoy Majumder; Bikash Chakraborty

In this paper we prove some uniqueness theorems concerning the derivatives of meromorphic functions when they share three sets. The obtained results improve some recent existing results.

Erratum: Uniqueness and value-sharing of meromorphic functions with finite weight

Sujoy Majumder

Abstract With the notion of weighted sharing of values we investigate the uniqueness problem of meromorphic functions when certain non-linear differential polynomials share the same 1-points. We prove two uniqueness results which significantly rectify, improve and generalize the recent result of L. Liu [10].

Unique Range Set for Meromorphic Functions with Deficient Values

Abhijit Banerjee; Sujoy Majumder

We employ the idea of weighted sharing of sets to find a unique range set for meromorphic functions with deficient values. Our result improves, generalises, and extends the result of Lahiri. Examples are exhibited that a condition in one of our results is the best possible one.

Weighted Value Sharing of Certain Non-Linear Differential Polynomials

Abhijit Banerjee; Sujoy Majumder

We use the notion of weighted sharing of values to study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions when certain non-linear differential polynomials share the same 1-points. Our results improve and supplement and at the same time generalised the results of Lahiri-Sarkar [14], Meng [18] and Zhang-Lin [23]. At the last section we pose some open problems which are still unsolved in connection to the context of the paper. .
