Scheduling model for flexible manufacturing system based on Petri net

A top-down method was proposed to build the Petri net model for the Flexible Manufacturing System(FMS).An algorithm was given to generate specified number of test models in accordance with some specified conditions and the simulation rules of programs were also given.The platform for FMS analysis and scheduling based on Petri net had been implemented.The system was configurable and could be maintained easily.Finally,the structure of the system was given.

ROSE: Large-Scale Content-Based Routing for P2P Networks

A new content-based routing (CBR) approach called ROSE is proposed to realize CBR in very large-scale publish-subscribe systems. ROSE relies on a ring space where subscriptions and events are routed along distinct, albeit intersecting, partitions. An analytical model of ROSE is derived, and validated through simulation. The results from theoretical analysis, simulations, and experiments show that ROSE achieves efficient CBR even in very large scale settings while at the same time confining traffic and achieving a fair load distribution.

The Embedded Gateway Based on P2P Protocol

The embedded gateway make it possible for the data from different traditional network transparent transmitted with IP network. But most embedded gateway application limited to LAN and can not support the node communication between different WAN. In order to realize the instant communication of network node in different LAN, an embedded gateway based on P2P protocol is proposed in the paper. The protocol packet format is redefined and work flow between server and client is introduced.
