In this paper, we have development of LED-IT-Sensor integration streetlight management system on Ad-hoc. The system gathers the various sensor data from a streetlight device, and the data is transmitted into an energy management system. The sorts of data are the intensity of illumination, humidity and diagnostic results. The sensor node among streetlight can gather the various data like the intensity of illumination, humidity. The one is transmitted into a control center through the Ad-hoc. In this paper, the proposed LED-IT-Sensor integration streetlight management system on Ad-hoc is large power savings can be obtained, RISC processor can provide the benefits composed a various function by changes of the program.

An expansion cluster routing algorithm based on RSSI for an efficient data transmission

Sung-Il Hong; Chi-Ho Lin

In this paper, we are propose the RSSI cluster routing method for multi-hop data transmission. The proposed the RSSI cluster routing method be generate the cluster a random to between nodes of similar positions using the RSSI of each node to the sink node in the cluster-based wireless sensor network. And it is to the data transmission to the sink node to the multi-hop through header decision. In this paper, efficiency test results of proposed RSSI cluster routing method was reduced energy consumption when increase the size and traffic in the sensors network by compared with LEACH protocol.

An efficient ILACS control algorithm for intelligent LED indoor lighting system

Sung-Il Hong; Chi-Ho Lin

In this paper, we propose an efficient Indoor Light Automatic Control System (ILACS) control algorithm for intelligent LED indoor lighting systems. The proposed ILACS control algorithm includes elements such as daylight intensity measured through a PIR sensor and an illuminance sensor at lighting style by a defined schedule and occupancy detection. This algorithm controls lighting through a wireless sensor network, and was designed for energy savings. Also, the algorithm controls indoor lighting based on occupancy detection of fine movements using a PIR sensor. Unnecessary lighting intensity control of the window-side and the inside were controlled according to daylight level measurements using the light sensor. In many cases of daylight inflow, the window-side lighting automatically became darker, and in daylight inflow, this occurred less, as the system was designed to be automatically bright. The efficiency validation results confirmed an efficient ILACS control algorithm for intelligent LED indoor lighting systems. The brightness of the indoor lights were employed to maximize the energy savings by controlling the system in real time when entering, in order to utilize external lighting or daylight.

A LED light control system design by optimal data transfer control algorithm

Sung-Il Hong; Young-Suk Kim; Chi-Ho Lin

In this paper, we propose a LED light control system design by optimal data transfer control algorithm. The proposed LED light control systems were to uses an efficient algorithm that simultaneously enables the transfer control of data by comparing the tolerance range of the sensing data on multiple sensor nodes, as the data processing method for the transfer control of sensor data. In addition, the control module of the LED streetlight was designed to handle three different tasks for the RTOS-based lighting control. The system execution status was verification porting directly to the ATmega128 MCU to validate the system, and luminance distribution and operating conditions were verified through LED Street-field testing. An optimal multi sensor data transfer control algorithm of the proposed LED light control systems could alleviate the bottleneck that is concentrated on the sink node using the gateway based WLAN on the multi sensor data transfer control algorithm, and it could to reduce the power consumption of terminal node. In addition, it provides improved system performance the use of an optimal multi sensor data transfer control algorithm that ensures independence by delegation to each task module, and was able to optimize energy saving using an intelligent lighting pattern control system.

The histogram processing algorithm for vehicle camera image pixel contrast improving

Sung-Il Hong; Chi-Ho Lin

In this paper, we propose the histogram processing algorithm for improving pixel contrast of vehicle camera image. The proposed the histogram processing algorithm was elimination to the vehicle image shake using motion compensation and motion estimation. And, algorithm was calculated the histogram of pixel values from each sub-image by dividing the image as the constant size areas in order to image enhancement. Also, it had enhancement to the image by adjusting the gradient. The proposed algorithm was evaluating the difference between of performance and time, image by applied to the IP, and were confirmed the image enhancement with removing of vehicle camera image shake. And it was obtained the reduction effect of the computation time by the calculated through histogram matching using the look-up table, and obtained the better restoration result for naturalness of the image with the lowest noise.

An efficient LSDM lighting control logic design for a lighting control system

Sung-Il Hong; Chi-Ho Lin

In this paper, we propose an efficient LSDM lighting control logic design for a lighting control system. The proposed LSDM lighting control logic is designed according to the operating conditions by dividing them into the signal control part for the I/O data bus and the timer/counter part for the clock signal control. Also, the control logic is transmitted to the MCU through a data bus based on the environmental information provided by each sensor node. The power dissipation rate of the proposed LSDM lighting control logic was measured in order to demonstrate the efficiency of the applying the control system. In addition, it was demonstrated that the proposed design is effective for the reduction of overall power consumption.
