Adjoint crystals and Young walls for Uq(sl2)

We develop the combinatorics of Young walls associated with higher level adjoint crystals for the quantum affine algebra Uq(sl[emailxa0protected]^). The irreducible highest weight crystal B(@l) of arbitrary level is realized as the affine crystal consisting of reduced Young walls on @l. We also give a Young wall realization of the crystal B(~) for Uq^-(sl[emailxa0protected]^).

Many properties of symmetric functions are related to properties of the set of partitions, as a lattice.In this paper we give properties of the remarkable distributive sublattice associated with Pieris formula, which expresses the multiplication of a Schur function by an elementary symmetric function, or the intersection of a Schubert cycle by a special one.
